SIGN UP BOX ON WEBSITE
Make this your priority. If you don’t know how to put a sign up box on your website, ask your website designer to do it for you.
Or, check out the numerous videos on YouTube which will walk you through the process. It really isn’t that hard!
Never miss out on an opportunity for prospective customers to leave your website, without parting with their email address.
You know your ‘About’ Page on your website?
It’s one of THE most viewed pages on your site.
So, you’re missing out on a treat if you don’t mention your client newsletter on there somewhere, ok?
• add a new page to your website as a drop-down menu from the About page,
• provide a link to the newsletter sign up form, or
• put horizontal sign up box at the top or bottom of this page (keep scanning to bottom of this post and you’ll see what I mean)
You may find them annoying when you click on or go to leave someone’s website, but they certainly capture prospective client’s email addresses.
Experiment with putting a Pop-Up Box on different pages of your website and watch the emails come in.
A good plugin I’ve used is PopUpAlly.
You can set it to pop up whenever, wherever you like – it’s quite sophisticated.
